Welcome to Gerry Heery Commissioner for Oaths. By accessing this website and using our contact form, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Provided

We provide services as a Commissioner for Oaths, including the witnessing of affidavits, statutory declarations, and certification of documents.

  • Independent Verification: As a Commissioner for Oaths, Gerry Heery acts as an independent witness. We do not provide legal advice on the contents of your documents.

  • Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse to witness a signature if the deponent is not physically present, lacks adequate photo ID, or appears not to understand the document.

2. Fees and Payment

Fees are typically set by statutory instrument (S.I. No. 616/2003):

  • Standard Fee: €10.00 per signature.

  • Exhibits: €2.00 per exhibit.

  • Additional charges for travel or call-outs must be agreed upon in advance.

3. User Obligations

You agree to present a valid government-issued photo ID (Passport or Driving Licence) at your appointment. You confirm that you have read and fully understand the document you are swearing or declaring.
