Refund Policy

At Gerry Heery Commissioner for Oaths, we strive to provide a professional and efficient service. Please review our policy regarding refunds and cancellations below.

1. Statutory Fees

Fees for Commissioner for Oaths services (typically €10 per signature and €2 per exhibit) are charged for the act of witnessing a signature and verifying identity. Once a document has been signed, stamped, and the service completed, no refunds will be issued. 

2. Appointment Cancellations
  • Notice Period: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask for at least [e.g., 2 hours] notice.

  • No-Shows: If an appointment is missed without prior notice, we reserve the right to decline future bookings or request a non-refundable deposit for the next scheduled session.

3. Refusal of Service

As a Commissioner for Oaths, Gerry Heery has a legal obligation to ensure the deponent understands the document and has valid identification. If a service cannot be completed because the client:

  • Fails to provide a valid government-issued photo ID;

  • Does not appear to understand the document;

  • Is not physically present;
    the fee will not be charged. However, if a call-out or travel fee was agreed upon and the visit has already taken place, the travel fee remains payable to cover time and expenses.

4. Errors and Omissions

If an error is made by the Commissioner during the witnessing process (e.g., a missing stamp or date), we will rectify the error immediately at no additional cost.
